Monday

- have you ever told a story that included a lie? What did you lie about? What was your motivation for lying? How did things turn out in the end? Were you glad you lied, or no? Why or why not?

Tuesday
- Unit 1, Journal 8
- If someone were to research the history of your life, what would be the best primary and secondary sources for them to consult? Explain why each source would be P or S.
- Stamp in HW - PvsS source, go over answers
- Read about Time and Place Rule, and Bias Rule
- HW= complete the last two columns of charts (be sure to read directions - complete the smallest column last!)
Wednesday
- Unit 1, Journal 9
- What is included in a textbook? How can you use the different parts? Do you think textbooks are easy or difficult to read? What strategies do you have for reading them?
- Check in homework
- 4th hour and 6th hour get permanent seats
- Go over bias in sources
- The Five themes of Geography ppt - students fill in chart in notebooks
- HW= Textbook Scavenger Hunt - due Friday
Thursday
- Unit 1, Journal 10
- Describe where you live - include lots of information, and consider all of the different ways you can describe this place.
- 5th hour gets permanent seats

Friday
- Unit 1, Journal 11
- Draw a map of the world (don't cheat and look at one). Label as much of the map as you can in the five minutes given.Finish five themes gallery walk
