Monday
  • Unit 1, Journal 3
    •  Draw a map of Plymouth High School.
  • Share artifacts with a partner

  • Unit 1, Journal 4
    • Write a literacy narrative (10 minutes, one page)

  • Begin the calendar of the world
  • HW= Write down the 5-8 most important personal events of your life
 Wednesday
  • Unit 1, Journal 5

    • How old do you think the earth is?  How long do you think that humans have existed?  How can we represent time? 
      Which events were the easiest to place in order yesterday?  Which did you absolutely know were first and last?  Why were they so easy to figure out?
  • Calendar of the World
  • Compare calendar to timeline
  • HW= create your own (thoroughly decorated) timeline, due Friday
Thursday
  • Unit1, Journal 6
    • Look at your list of most important events.  When do they take place?  early in your life? recently?  what do you think this says about your lifetime?  Which of the events happen for most people, and which are unique to you?
  • Create a timeline of Ms. Kraft's life
  • Begin your own timeline - due Monday
  • HW= Create an acurate and complete timeline (no pictures or color yet)
Friday
  • No Journal - Quick Quiz
  • Critique Timelines
  • Work on correcting timelines
  • HW= Add images and color to your timeline...finished product due Monday!
