• What is your favorite fairy tale, myth, legend, fable?  Summarize the story briefly.  What is the “lesson” that the story teaches?  Draw a few symbols that represent the story.
• Read about legendary Xia rulers, create robes

• What are some of hte common values in Chinese legends?  What personality traits seem to be valued?  Give some examples from the rulers you learned about yesterday.  What does this say about Chinese society?  As compared to American Society?
• Read about the three belief systems of China, fill in the 5Ws+H on your charts

• Complete belief system charts
• Identify quotes that correspond to the three belief systems
