- Unit 1, Journal 1: What can we use to learn about the past? What methods, which things, what tools? Lis and explain as many as you can think of. Are some tools, objects, methods better than others?
- Artifact Analysis: Ms. Kraft

3. What other information would be useful? (follow-up)
- HW= Bring 2 artifacts for analysis Friday
- 5th hour has 9th grade class meeting on Friday! (bring artifacts on Monday)
Friday
- Unit 1, Journal 2: Write a story about Ms. Kraft's life based on the artifacts that you analyzed yesterday.
- Ms Kraft answers questions for students
- Students answer questions about artifact analysis process
- Students analyze each others' artifacts
- Share artifacts with larger class (continued on Monday)
